Loom India is located over in Sector 41, at B-71. It’s a bit of a quieter area compared to the main industrial hubs, which is nice in its own way. We work with textiles and weaving, so there is always a bit of a smell of yarn and cloth in the air. The space isn't huge, but we make it work for what we need to do. Most days are spent checking on the quality of the fabrics or talking to the people who handle the actual weaving process. It’s a hands-on kind of business where you end up with lint on your clothes by the end of the day. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. People just come to the door in Sector 41 when they have business with us. We handle a lot of different threads and patterns, and sometimes the office feels like a giant scrapbooked room of different colors and textures. It can get a little messy when we are in the middle of a big project, but we usually tidy up by the end of the week. The neighborhood is mostly houses and small offices, so it feels more like a local community than a big corporate park. We just focus on the looms and the cloth, making sure everything is moving along as it should. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
