India Bags is located at 87 A, down Lean No. 5 in Lakshmi Market. It’s one of those narrow lanes where things are always happening. We deal with all sorts of bags. We’ve got stacks of them reaching up to the ceiling sometimes. It’s a bit tight in here, but we make it work. Lakshmi Market is a busy place, and our little corner in Lean 5 is usually full of people looking for something durable. We’ve been here a long time, and the shop has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy lighting. It’s just a regular market shop. We spend our time talking to customers and making sure the stock is okay. Some of the bags are made right here, and you can hear the sewing machines running in the back. It’s a steady noise that we’ve gotten used to over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the market. We just want to stay in business and provide bags that don't break the first time you use them. The floors are a bit uneven and the walls could use some paint, but that doesn't stop us. We open the doors every morning and see who comes by. It’s a simple life. We like the bustle of the market. It keeps us on our toes and makes the day go faster.
