We are located down in the basement of building A-21 in Amar Colony, which is part of Lajpat Nagar 4. If you know the area, you know how busy the streets get around here with the market and all the people shopping for clothes. Finding a parking spot is almost impossible most days, so we usually just see people walking in from the main road. The basement stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the pavement outside. It is a bit of a maze downstairs with different rooms and storage areas, and the lighting is okay but nothing special. We spend most of our hours down here getting things organized and dealing with the daily tasks. You can hear the feet of people walking on the sidewalk above us sometimes. The walls are a bit plain and we haven't really spent much time decorating because we are usually too busy. Amar Colony has a specific feel to it, a bit old and very crowded, but it is where we have set things up. It is not a shiny office by any means, just a practical space in a basement where the work happens. We keep the kettle going for tea and try to stay on top of everything. It is a tight fit when we have a lot of stuff delivered, but we have a system that works for us.
