Cashmere Craft

We are Cashmere Craft and we work out of a basement. Our address is F-137 in Lajpat Nagar-1. It’s a bit tucked away, so you have to look for the sign when you get near the building. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a relief for all of us. We have all our materials and tools down here. It’s not a huge space, but we’ve made it work for our needs over the years. We handle a lot of craft work, mostly focusing on cashmere items. There’s always a bit of dust and some yarn lying around the floor. We try to sweep up at the end of the day, but it’s a working space, so it’s never perfectly clean. Lajpat Nagar is a busy place, so there’s always noise from the street above. We don't mind it much. We’ve got our own little world down here. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past. It’s a simple, honest business. We don't have a big storefront with lights. Just a door that leads down to where we do the work. It’s been our home for the business for a long time now. We like the local feel of the neighborhood and our neighbors are mostly good people.
