Kraft Leather

Kraft Leather is tucked away at F-15 in Hauz Khas, right near the garden. If you happen to walk by our door, you can usually smell the tanned leather before you even see the shop sign. It’s a small place, and honestly, it’s a bit cramped with all the rolls of hide, heavy tools, and scraps laying around on the floor. We spend most of our working hours hunched over the workbench, cutting, skiving, and stitching. It’s definitely not a quiet place because there’s always the sound of a hammer or an old sewing machine going. We’ve been in this part of Hauz Khas for a while now, and we really like the vibe near the greenery. It gets a little dusty sometimes, and our hands are usually stained from the various oils and dyes we use, but that’s just the nature of working with real materials. We make bags, belts, and whatever else people walk in and ask for. Sometimes we get stuck on a tricky corner or a difficult stitch, but we eventually get it sorted out with a bit of patience. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that, just a few of us who know how to handle a needle and thread. Customers usually find us because they’re walking through the garden area or heard about us from a neighbor. We don't put on any airs; we just make things that are meant to be used every day and last a long time.
