Kores (India) Ltd. is right on Asaf Ali Road, which everyone knows is one of the busiest spots you can find. We are in Laxman House, specifically at 3/9-10. If you look at the building from the street, it shows its age a bit, but it has a solid feel to it. The traffic outside is constant, with horns honking from morning until the sun goes down. Inside, though, we try to keep things a bit more organized. It’s a bit of a maze in Laxman House if you aren’t used to the layout. Our space is filled with old desks and stacks of paper that we try to keep in order. It isn’t the kind of place where you’ll find modern glass walls or anything like that. We have some old fans that make a bit of a clicking sound, but they keep the air moving. Most of the staff has been here for a long time, so we all know each other’s habits. We usually bring lunch from home and eat together when things aren't too busy. Sometimes the elevators act up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. Asaf Ali Road is great because everything is close by, even if it is a bit loud. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks. It’s a plain, functional office that serves its purpose for us every day without needing any extra bells or whistles.
