Kohli Automotive

Kohli Automotive is tucked away at Plot No. C- 572 in Saraswati Vihar. If you know the neighborhood, it's not too hard to find us. We mostly deal with car parts and fixing things up. It’s a family-run kind of thing, started a long time ago. The shop is usually full of spare tires and boxes that we haven't quite organized yet. We work on whatever comes through the door. Some days it's busy, some days it's just us sitting around talking about the latest cricket scores. We don't have a fancy waiting room or a coffee machine for visitors. Most people just stand around the garage while we work. The floor has oil stains that have been there for years. We try to keep things simple. We don't use big words or try to sell you things you don't need. If something's broken, we look at it. My brother handles the books but he’s better with a wrench than a calculator. Saraswati Vihar is a quiet enough place most of the time, except when we’re testing an engine. We like being part of the local community here. It’s not a massive operation, just a few of us doing what we know how to do. The sign out front is a bit faded from the sun but everyone knows it's us. We just keep at it every day, even when it's hot outside. We are here six days a week and sometimes on Sundays too.
