Kohinoor Gears

Kohinoor Gears is out in Mundka, right near Plot No. 242/2/2. A good way to find us is to look for Metro Pillar No 504. If you see that, you’re pretty much there. The sound of the metro passing overhead is something we just got used to over time. Our workshop is filled with the smell of oil and the sound of machines running. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Instead, you’ll see parts and tools scattered around where we’re working on them. It’s a bit greasy and loud, but that’s the nature of making gears. We’ve got a small area with a table where we can sit down and look at drawings or have a quick lunch. The floor is concrete and has some stains from years of work. We started out small and just kept adding bits of equipment as we went along. Mundka is an industrial area, so we fit right in with our neighbors. Everyone around here is busy making something. We usually have the big shutter open to let in some air, especially during the summer. It’s hard work and the days can be long, but there is something satisfying about seeing the finished pieces stacked up at the end of the shift. We aren’t big on talking ourselves up. We just like to let the work speak for itself and keep the machines humming. It gets cold in the winter, but we just wear extra layers.
