Tucked away in room 303 of Dohil Chambers, our little shop sits right in the middle of the noisy chaos that is Nehru Place. Anyone who’s been to this part of Delhi knows exactly what I’m talking about. There are people everywhere, street food smells mixing with electronics, and cables hanging off the old buildings. Our place at 46 Nehru Place is a bit like that too. We’ve got shelves overflowing with all sorts of small electronic parts and kits that hobbyists or local repair guys are always coming in to find. It’s definitely not a big fancy showroom. Most days, the air conditioner makes this weird rattling noise, and the main workbench is buried under bits of wire and half-open boxes. We’ve been in this building for a long time now, just helping folks track down that one specific spare part they can't seem to find anywhere else. Sometimes a customer walks in with a burnt-out circuit board and we just spend an hour digging through plastic bins to see if there’s a capacitor that fits. It’s a busy life and the building itself is showing its age, but we like being right where everything happens. Lunch is usually a quick snack from a nearby stall while we chat about whatever new component just came in. It isn't much to look at, but it’s our corner of the city and we know our way around every shelf.
