Our place is in Okhla Phase-1, specifically at D-88/5. If you know Okhla, you know it’s a busy, gritty industrial hub. We are surrounded by other workshops and small factories. We deal in all sorts of electronic kits and spare parts, so the interior of our unit is filled with small bins and drawers. It’s a lot of stuff to keep track of if you aren't familiar with electronics. We have thousands of different items, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room to put them all. The desks are covered in soldering irons and half-finished circuits. There’s a constant sound of trucks and loaders from the street. The stairs are narrow, and the corridors are often lined with boxes. We have a small crew who knows exactly which drawer holds which transistor. It’s a busy atmosphere where we spend most of the day packing small components into envelopes for shipping. We don't have a fancy showroom. People who come to see us usually know what they are looking for. We offer them a plastic chair and some water while we find their parts. It’s a very hands-on business. Sometimes the internet goes down, and we have to do things the old-fashioned way with paper notes. We like it here though, right in the middle of all the manufacturing and repair work that goes on in Okhla. The afternoon tea break is the only time the place goes quiet for fifteen minutes or so.
