Our warehouse is at 1/54 W. H. S in Kirti Nagar. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly industrial and furniture stuff around here. We’ve been in this unit for several years now. It’s a big space but we always seem to run out of room for all the stock we carry. We handle supplies and various materials that other businesses in the city need to keep going. It’s heavy work sometimes, moving crates and checking manifests by hand. The dust from the nearby wood shops gets in everywhere, so we are always cleaning the shelves. We start early in the morning when the trucks arrive for loading. It can be a bit chaotic with all the noise and people moving about. We don’t have a fancy front office, just a small desk in the corner with an old computer and a lot of paper registers. People come by to pick up their orders or just to see what we have in stock that day. We know most of the other business owners on this block quite well. We trade stories about the market and the terrible traffic. It’s a tough business sometimes, keeping track of everything coming in and going out, but we’re used to it. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready. It's not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We’ve been part of the Kirti Nagar community for a long time.
