Jai Maa Kali Electricals

Jai Maa Kali Electricals is located in Hari Enclave, which is part of the Kirari Suleman Nagar area. It is a typical small shop filled to the ceiling with all sorts of electrical parts. We have boxes of switches, rolls of wire, and different types of bulbs stacked everywhere. It can be hard to find things sometimes, but we know exactly which pile holds what. The floor is usually a bit dusty because of the construction work happening on the road nearby. People from the neighborhood come in constantly asking for repairs or just a spare fuse. We spend a lot of time testing lights on the little board behind the counter to make sure they work before someone takes them home. It’s just me and a helper most days. We don't have a computer to track things; we just use a paper ledger and a pen. In the evenings, the shop gets quite busy because that’s when everyone notices their lights are burnt out. We leave the front door open for air, even though the street noise is loud. It is a basic setup, but it serves the people living around here. There is a small temple nearby, and we usually hear the bells in the morning. We just keep the shop running six days a week and hope for the best. Sometimes the cats from the alley wander in looking for scraps, but we just shoo them away politely.
