We are over in Karol Bagh at Plot No. 991. You have to turn into Shivaji Gali No. 2 off Hardhyan Singh Road to find us. We are pretty close to the Birla Flat, which helps people get their bearings. Karol Bagh is a really busy part of Delhi, and our little street is no exception. There is always someone moving a scooter or a delivery rickshaw blocking the way. Our shop, Kewal Automotives, is where we spend our whole day. It’s a solid building but it gets really dusty with all the traffic outside. We have been here long enough to know all the other shopkeepers on the gali. We don't have a fancy showroom. It is just a place packed with parts and tools. We focus on the work rather than how the place looks to outsiders. Most of our time is spent talking to customers and checking what needs to be done. It can be a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of stock delivered. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just open up in the morning, do the work, and go home when we’re finished. It’s a simple life. Sometimes we sit on stools outside for a few minutes when the weather is nice, watching the people go by.
