Kedia Goel Co

Working out of the Daffodil Tower at Omaxe Green Valley is quite a change from the old markets. We are in unit 602, so we are high enough to see over a lot of the other buildings in Sector 41 and 42. It’s a lot more modern than where we used to be, but Kedia Goel Co still feels like a small family operation. We brought our old desks with us, which look a bit out of place against the new walls. The tower is usually quiet, though you can hear the wind whistling through the balconies on the higher floors. We spend our mornings going through the mail and catching up on the paperwork from the day before. Faridabad has grown so much, and you can see the construction happening everywhere from our window. It’s a bit surreal to be in such a nice building when we’re just doing basic company work. The kitchen is tiny, just enough for a kettle and some biscuits. We don't really have many visitors, so the extra chairs mostly just collect dust. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend eight hours a day. We keep the lights low because the natural sun from the windows is usually enough. It’s just a steady, quiet routine we have here, looking out at the green valley and getting our work done bit by bit.
