We are located at S-50 in the Okhla Industrial Area Phase -2. It is a very grey part of town. Lots of big trucks and concrete. Kay Tee Exports Pvt. Ltd. is just one of many buildings in this section. There is always the sound of construction or heavy engines nearby. The air feels different here than in the residential parts. We have a big metal door at S-50. Inside, it’s mostly open space and workstations. We don't have much decoration on the walls. It’s a practical environment. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. The lunch break is the best part of the day because a few food carts set up down the street. Everyone from the nearby units goes there. It is a good chance to stretch your legs. The office is tucked away in the back of the unit. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and samples. We have a small kettle for making coffee. It’s a lot of coordination between people. Phase -2 is always busy, even late into the evening. We stay until the last task is done. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep. We just keep moving forward one day at a time, trying to stay on top of the schedule. The street outside is usually full of parked bikes and delivery vans.
