Karuna Hospital

Our hospital is located at D-62 in Dilshad Colony, right here in Delhi. If you know the area, we are quite close to the Tahirpur red light and just opposite the District Park. It’s actually a nice spot because you can see the trees in the park from some of the upper windows, which is a bit of a relief from the city traffic. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. The building is a typical Delhi structure, squeezed in among other businesses and homes, but we’ve made the most of the space inside. It can get pretty crowded in the mornings when the outpatient clinic opens. People start lining up early, and the lobby fills up fast. We have a team of nurses and assistants who have worked together for years, so we all know how to handle the rush. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't have a big corporate office or a PR department. It is just us, the doctors, and the patients. We deal with everything from common colds to more complex issues that require staying overnight. The neighborhood is vibrant and sometimes loud, but inside we try to keep things focused on the job at hand. It’s a local institution, really. People stop in just to ask questions or get their prescriptions filled at the pharmacy. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day, making sure everyone who walks in gets some attention before they head back out.
