Kartoption E Retail Pvt. Ltd. is based in Rajasthan Colony, which is part of West Patel Nagar near Anand Parbat. We are at RC-262, and the area is pretty much what you’d expect from a busy part of Delhi. There are narrow lanes and a lot of movement all day long. Our space is usually overflowing with boxes and packing tape because that’s the nature of e-retail. We spend most of our time printing out shipping labels and making sure the right items get into the right packages. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, but we’ve got a system that works for us, even if it looks a bit chaotic to an outsider. The sound of tape dispensers is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. We share the building with a few other small businesses, so there’s always someone coming in or out. In the evenings, we have to move all the outgoing packages to the main road because the big courier trucks can't always get into the smaller streets of the colony. It’s a bit of a workout, but it’s just part of the job. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to make sure the orders go out on time and that we don't run out of packing supplies. It’s a busy, cramped, and fast-moving place, but it keeps us on our toes.
