If you have ever walked through the lanes of Naiwala in Karol Bagh, you know it is a madhouse. Our shop, Shobha Trading, is on the second floor at 1264/4. It is not the easiest place to find if you are not looking closely, and carrying stock up those stairs is definitely a workout every single day. We have been part of this market for a long time. Karol Bagh is the kind of place where you hear horns honking from morning until night, and there is always someone shouting for a rickshaw to move. Our space is filled with boxes and parts piled up to the ceiling. It is a bit messy, honestly, but we know exactly where everything is hidden. We do not really do fancy displays because there just is not room for it. Most people who come to see us are looking for something specific, and they usually know what they want before they even walk in. We deal with a lot of regular buyers who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes we have a cup of tea with them while we settle the bills. It is a tough way to make a living with all the competition on every floor of every building here, but we just keep at it. The days are long, and by the time we close up, the market is still buzzing. It is just the way Karol Bagh operates, and we are just a small part of it.
