Karee Lighting (India) (Karee Group), New Delhi

Our office is in New Delhi, specifically in the Khizrabad area of New Friends Colony. The address is 35/222. It is a bit of a maze back here if you aren't familiar with the street numbers. We are part of the Karee Group. Khizrabad is a busy, crowded part of the city, and being so close to New Friends Colony means there is always something going on. Our building is a typical Delhi structure, squeezed in with the others. We have been working on lighting from this spot for a good while now. The office isn't very large. We have samples of our lights sitting around on every available surface, so it can get a bit cluttered. We don't have a fancy showroom with spotlights. Usually, we just show people what we have right there at the desks. The walk through the narrow lanes to get here can be a bit much for some, but it’s just home to us. We have a small staff and we all know each other’s business. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just answer the phones, manage the orders, and try to keep the lights on, literally and figuratively. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we get the work done. Living and working in New Delhi means you just learn to deal with the chaos and keep your files in order.
