We are in the basement of the State Bank building, which is number 23 on Shivaji Marg. It is quite close to Karampura. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler during the hot months, which is nice. You have to come down the steps to find us. The State Bank is a big landmark, so we just tell people to look for that. We deal with fashion items here. The space is filled with racks and boxes. It is not a fancy boutique with bright lights and mirrors everywhere. It is more of a working warehouse and shop combined. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the items that come in. Shivaji Marg is a busy road, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by outside. We can't see the street from down here, but we can hear it. It is a very straightforward way to run a business. No big promises or corporate talk. We just show up, open the shop, and work on the clothes. It is a bit of a climb back up the stairs at the end of the day. We have been in this Karampura spot for a while now. We keep the place tidy but it is definitely a workspace first. We enjoy the work and the people who visit. It is just a normal day for us.
