Kanwar Auto Works

We are over here at Shop No 94 in the DDA Complex at Naraina Vihar. It is a pretty busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their cars sorted before work. Kanwar Auto Works has been in this little corner of Block A for a while now. Most days are just full of the sound of wrenches clanking and the smell of engine oil. It is not a fancy place, just a regular workshop where we spend most of our time under hoods or checking tires. The floor is usually a bit greasy no matter how much we sweep it at the end of the shift. You see the same faces every week, people from the neighborhood dropping by to ask about a noise their car is making. Sometimes the tea stall guy comes around and we take a quick break, but mostly we are just busy with the tools. The LSC area gets quite crowded, so there is always something going on outside the shop door. We do not have any big office, just the workbench and the racks where we keep the spare parts and the oil cans. It gets hot in the summers, but we just keep the fans running and get on with the work. Dealing with cars is just what we do here, day in and day out. If you walk past the complex, you will probably hear us before you see us. It is a simple life, just fixing things and making sure the engines are running okay.
