Our office is in Flat 7 of the Om Shanti Kunj Apartments in New Delhi. It’s more of a home-turned-office vibe than anything else. You walk in and there are stacks of files everywhere because we handle a lot of paperwork. It’s a small firm, just a few of us sitting around desks that have seen better days. The apartment complex is usually buzzing with people coming and going, so there is always some noise in the background. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing up documents. Delhi summers are tough, so we keep the blinds closed and the cooler running. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits every day unless we have a big meeting. Usually, it’s just casual clothes and a lot of tea. We have some regular clients who have been coming to Flat 7 for years, so they know exactly where to find us. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people show up at once, but we make it work somehow. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything like that. People just find us through word of mouth or because they live in the neighborhood. It’s just Kanwal and the rest of the team doing the day-to-day grind, making sure the ledgers and the filings are done on time. It's a simple, honest way to run a business in the middle of Delhi.
