You can find our office at No. 133 in Tilak Bazar. If you are familiar with this area of the city, you know it is one of the oldest and busiest trading spots around. We have been operating out of this specific building for a very long time. It is a traditional setup with lots of movement and shouting every single day. We deal with various chemicals and industrial materials that other businesses need for their processes. The shop floor is usually full of heavy bags or plastic containers waiting to be picked up by a truck. It is not the cleanest or the quietest place to spend your day, but it is where the actual trade happens. We do not have a fancy mission statement or any corporate goals pinned to the wall. We just buy and sell goods and make sure all the accounts are right at the end of the day. The lanes in Tilak Bazar are incredibly narrow, so getting goods in and out is always a bit of a difficult puzzle. You have to know the loaders and the cart pullers well to get anything moved on time. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the other traders out on the street to see what is happening. We do not use computers for every single thing; a lot of our notes are still kept in paper ledgers because that is what works.
