Kindle Fire Protection

You can find us down in the basement at D-12 in Kalkaji. It’s a bit tucked away, but being near the Kalkaji Police Station makes it easy enough for people to find. We deal with fire protection equipment, which mostly means we spend our time surrounded by red fire extinguishers and coils of hose. The basement stays fairly cool even when the Delhi sun is beating down on the street above. It’s a quiet work environment for the most part, except for when we’re testing things or when the delivery trucks arrive. We don’t have a big reception desk or fancy chairs. It’s just a workspace where we check gauges, refill tanks, and make sure the safety tags are all updated correctly. Most of our days are spent doing the same routine, making sure the gear is ready to go if anyone ever actually needs to use it. The parking around here can be a real pain, so we usually tell people to just drop their stuff off quick. We’ve been in this same spot for years and the neighbors all know us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just focus on the gear in front of us. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough. We usually have the radio on and a pot of tea going in the corner while we work through the daily inspections.
