Juana Mobile Clinic

Our office is right on the ground floor at A 92 on the main road in Masoodpur. You can find us pretty easily because we are right near the SBI bank in Vasant Kunj. Juana Mobile Clinic is mostly about getting out to see people who can't really make it to a big hospital. We spend a lot of time in the van, driving around different neighborhoods. The office is where we keep the supplies and do some of the paperwork, which honestly takes up too much time. It's a bit cramped in there with all the boxes of bandages and medicine. We started this because we saw how many people were just ignoring their health because the bus ride was too long. It isn't a glamorous job and the traffic in Vasant Kunj can be a nightmare some afternoons. We try to keep a schedule but sometimes the van breaks down or the rain slows us down. There are three of us usually working here. We handle a lot of small things, like fevers or cuts that won't heal. It’s loud out on the main road, so we usually keep the door shut. If you see the white van with our name on it, that is us. We’ve been at this for a few years now and most of the locals know our faces by now. We just do what we can with the tools we have on hand.
