Joginder Singh Kochar & Sons is based at shops 4-5 in Janta Market on Rani Jhansi Road. We are really close to the Jhandewalan Mandir, so you can often hear the bells and see the crowds when there’s a festival going on. Our business has a family feel to it, which you can probably tell from the name. We’ve been in this market for a long time, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Our shop is filled with all sorts of items that we sell to people who stop by. It’s not a modern showroom; it’s more of a traditional market shop where everything is packed in. We know a lot of our customers by name because they’ve been coming to us for years. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us working together, handling the inventory and talking to customers. Some days it’s very busy with people asking questions, and other days we just sit and wait for the next person to walk in. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. Janta Market is a lively place to work, and being on Rani Jhansi Road means there’s always something to see out the front door. We are just a regular family business doing our part in the local community.
