Jiva Ayurveda

Jiva Ayurveda is tucked away in the basement of Ankur Complex at C-4/18, Acharya Niketan in Mayur Vihar Phase I. We are right opposite the Sheetala Mata Mandir. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice in the Delhi heat. You have to come down the stairs to find us. It’s a cozy space filled with the smell of herbs and oils. We spend our time preparing things and talking to folks who come in. The temple across the way means there is always a lot of activity nearby, especially on festival days. We hear the bells and the music from the mandir while we work. It’s a busy little corner of Mayur Vihar. There are plenty of other shops in the complex, so it feels like a small community. We don’t have a massive showroom or anything. It’s just the rooms where we do the consultations and keep our supplies. Sometimes the lighting is a bit dim, but it adds to the quiet atmosphere we like. We’ve been here for a while and people in Acharya Niketan know exactly where to find us. We just focus on the daily routine and helping the people who walk down those stairs. We close up when the market gets quiet, usually around the same time as the temple evening prayers. It's a nice place to be every day.
