Jbl Auto

Jbl Auto is located on Lothian Road in the Kashmere Gate area. We are right near the Bhagwan DAS Building, which most people use as a landmark to find us. Kashmere Gate is a legendary spot for anyone into cars or machinery in this city. It is always crowded, dusty, and loud. Lothian Road stays busy from early morning until late at night. Our shop isn't anything special to look at. It’s an older building and the space is a bit cramped once you get all the supplies in there. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who have been working together for years. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or advertising. People usually find us because they’re already in the area looking for something else. The shop floor is usually a bit greasy and there are parts stacked up in the corners. We keep a small kettle in the back for tea when we have a break. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out, but that’s just life in this part of town. The Bhagwan DAS Building is a good neighbor to have because everyone knows it. We’ve seen the streets change over the decades, but the vibe of Kashmere Gate stays the same. Jbl Auto is just a small part of that history. We show up, do the work, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s a simple way of doing things. We stay busy.
