Janaksons International is on the first floor of X-42 in Okhla Industrial Area Phase-2. If you’ve been to Okhla, you know it’s a maze of buildings and small lanes. Our office is up a flight of stairs that can be a bit steep if you’re carrying heavy samples. We have been in this location for quite some time now. The workspace is a mix of desks and storage shelves. It’s often a bit cluttered because we have a lot of samples and documents coming in from different places. We don't have a receptionist sitting at a big desk; usually, whoever is closest to the door says hello. The windows look out over the street, so we see all the traffic and the street vendors below. It’s a lively atmosphere, even if it’s a bit gritty. We handle a lot of international correspondence, so someone is usually on the computer or the phone at odd hours. The tea here is made on a small stove in the corner, and it’s what keeps us going through the long afternoons. Okhla Phase-2 is a tough place to navigate, but once you find X-42, we are easy to spot. We don't bother with polished presentations. We just get the work done and try to stay on top of the shipping schedules. It’s a busy, unpretentious place to spend a workday. We have our routine and we stick to it.
