Jain Confectionery

Jain Confectionery is located in the INA market area, at shop number 266. If you know INA, you know it’s a place that’s always buzzing with people looking for food and supplies. Our shop is quite small, but we try to fit a lot into it. We have shelves filled with different types of biscuits, candies, and salty snacks that people like to grab on their way home. Being at number 266 means we are right in the thick of things. The floor is often a bit dusty from all the foot traffic, and we are constantly restocking the jars as they get empty. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s usually someone we know sitting behind the counter. We don’t have any big advertisements or shiny signs; people just know we are here because we’ve been here for ages. Sometimes it gets really crowded inside when a few people come in at once, and it’s a bit of a squeeze. We spend our time chatting with the regulars and making sure the jars are full. The smell of sweets is always in the air, which is nice. We don't do anything fancy, just sell the snacks that people want. It is a simple business in a very busy part of Delhi. We just open up every morning and wait for the first customer to arrive.
