Jain Confectionary

Jain Confectionary has been at shop 266 in INA Market for a long time. If you know the market, you know it can get really packed, especially in the evenings. We sell all sorts of sweets, biscuits, and snacks. Some of the stuff we make ourselves in the back, and other things we bring in from trusted makers. The display cases are always full, but they get messy pretty quickly when we’re busy. We have a lot of regular customers who stop by after doing their grocery shopping in the main market. They usually want a little something sweet for the kids or some namkeen for tea. We aren't a big fancy bakery. We’re just a traditional confectionary shop. Sometimes the cooling in the display case struggles during the peak of summer, so we have to keep an eye on things so nothing spoils. We’ve seen the market change quite a bit, but we’ve stayed right here at number 266. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day and dealing with people who are in a hurry. We don't use any fancy packaging, just the regular boxes and bags. It’s a simple business. We just want to make sure the sweets are fresh and the customers get what they asked for without a lot of hassle. It's a bit loud with the shouting from other stalls, but that's just the way INA Market works. We like being part of it.
