J. P. Traders

J. P. Traders is based at No. 360/8 on the 1st Floor of Press Street. We are right in the middle of Sadar Bazar. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets. Press Street is always buzzing with people and carts moving goods back and forth. Being on the first floor helps a little with the noise, but not much. We’ve been in Sadar Bazar for a long time. It’s a hectic place to work, but it’s where all the trade happens. Our space is filled with whatever we are trading at the moment. Boxes are stacked up to the ceiling sometimes. We don’t have much room for a fancy office, so we just use what we have. It’s an old building, and the stairs are a bit steep. We carry things up and down all day long. Dealing with the daily rush of the market is just part of our lives. We talk to a lot of different people every day. Some are regular faces we’ve seen for years, and others are just passing through. We don’t do any big advertising. People mostly find us by word of mouth or by just walking through Sadar Bazar. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We check the stock, talk to the suppliers, and try to keep everything moving. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our business and we take care of it at No. 360/8.
