Our place, J K Patel & Co., is located in Kirti Nagar. We’re at B-2 in the WHS area, right near the Timber Market. You can smell the wood in the air around here most days, which isn't a bad thing at all if you like that sort of thing. It’s a very industrial part of town, with lots of trucks and workers moving heavy stuff around. Our office is just as rugged as the neighborhood. We don't have any fancy carpets or soft chairs. It’s a place for work. We’ve been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the timber market grow and change quite a bit. We have a small team, and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. There isn't a lot of management stuff going on; we just talk to each other and get the jobs done. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty because of all the wood being cut and moved nearby, but we don't mind. It’s part of being in Kirti Nagar. We aren't corporate people at all. We’re just a local company that’s been around the block a few times and knows the trade. We know our way around the business and we don't feel the need to brag about it or use fancy words. If you need something, you just come in and ask us directly. We’re usually around from early morning until late evening. It's a busy spot, but it’s our spot and we’re used to the noise and the pace of the market.
