Interra Designs

Our studio is at 252 A/2 in Shahpur Jat, right across from the Panchsheel Complex. If you have ever been to Shahpur Jat, you know it is a place with very narrow lanes and lots of small businesses tucked away. We have been here for a while now, working on different design projects. Our office can get a bit crowded, especially when we have fabric samples or large drawings spread out all over the place. We don't have a large, formal staff. It’s just a few of us who enjoy figuring out how to make a room or a building look right. We spend a lot of time talking to the local craftsmen in the area and trying to get the small details of a project to come out the way they should. It is not always easy, and sometimes things don't go exactly as we planned, but we just keep working at it until it’s finished. We don't have any mission statements or corporate goals. We just like the process of designing things. Some days we are out looking for materials, and other days we are just stuck at our desks trying to get a floor plan to make sense. It’s a local operation, and we treat it that way. We get to know the people we are working for, and we try to be very honest about what we can actually do for them.
