Inter Ocean Shipping Company

We are located at H-62 in Humayupur, which is right in the Safdarjung Enclave area of New Delhi. It’s a nice enough spot to work, even if the streets get a bit crowded with cars and rickshaws in the afternoons. Inter Ocean Shipping Company has been around for a bit, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We handle the shipping side of things, which mostly means we are the ones stuck behind desks doing the paperwork while the ships are out at sea. Delhi is pretty far from any ocean, so it’s funny to think we spend all day talking about boats and cargo containers. We have a small office here, and it’s usually filled with the sound of printers and people talking on their mobiles. We don't have any of that fancy corporate culture. We are just a group of people who know how the shipping world works and we try to keep things moving. Sometimes a client calls with a problem, and we just have to sit down and find a solution. It isn't always pretty, and there’s usually a lot of back-and-forth emails involved. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just do the daily grind and make sure the cargo gets where it needs to go. It’s steady work and we like the people we work with. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually take our breaks.
