Indo Asahi Glass Company

Indo Asahi Glass Company is situated over here in the River Side Township in Burnpur. You have to find Road No. 3 and look for Quarter Number 17. It is actually care of Mr. T. K. Dey. We have been part of this community in the Burdwan district for quite some time. The township is a specific kind of place to work, very quiet compared to the main city areas of West Bengal. We handle glass stuff here, mostly just regular daily operations that keep us busy from morning till evening. The office is inside a residential quarter, so it doesn't look like a big factory or anything from the outside. You might miss it if you aren't looking for the number on the gate. We spend a lot of time dealing with the logistics of glass and making sure things get where they need to go. It is a lot of paperwork and talking to people on the phone. Mr. Dey is usually around if there are any specific questions. Being in Burnpur means we are close to the river, which is nice when we take breaks. It isn't a flashy business, just a steady one. We have a small group of people who know their way around the glass industry. We just show up, do the work, and go home. It is practical and simple. Sometimes the mail takes a bit longer to reach us here in the township, but we manage just fine.
