Imp Industries

Imp Industries is based at C-144 in the Naraina area. Naraina is a crowded place, and finding a parking spot near our building can be a real headache some days. Our unit is tucked in among many others, all doing different things. Inside C-144, it’s a mix of an office and a small workshop area. We’ve got shelves lining the walls filled with parts and tools. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there’s always a bit of dust from the street and the work we do, but it’s our space. We like the fact that everything is within reach. We don’t have layers of management or anything complicated. You can usually just walk in and talk to whoever is available at the moment. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working with our hands. It’s the kind of place where you aren't afraid to get your shirtsleeves a bit dirty. The light in the front office is a bit dim, but we have bright lamps over the workbenches where it matters. We’ve been in Naraina for quite a while now and have seen the neighborhood change, but our building stays pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady and it keeps us busy. We prefer staying low-key and just getting things done.
