Idfc Bank Ltd

We work on the second floor of the Express Building on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, right in the ITO area. It’s a famous spot in the city, and being in the Express Building feels a bit special because of all the history there. Our office at IDFC Bank Ltd is where we spend our nine-to-five, or sometimes a bit later if the accounts don't balance right away. It’s not all glass and mirrors like the new buildings you see; it’s got a more traditional feel to it. We have rows of desks and lots of files, as you’d expect. The ITO intersection outside is always a mess of cars, but inside we try to keep things orderly. We deal with a lot of people every day, some coming in with questions and others calling about their accounts. It can be stressful when the system slows down, but we just grab a tea and wait it out. Most of us take the bus or the metro because driving here is a nightmare. We’ve got a mix of young folks and some who have been in banking forever. We don’t do big speeches or fancy presentations. We just sit down, open our laptops, and help the people who walk through the door. It’s a practical office for a practical job. The view from the second floor isn't much, but we're too busy to look out the window anyway.
