Horn Ghar

At Horn Ghar, we are located at No. 1045/16 in Naiwala, Karol Bagh. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how packed it gets with motorcycles and spare parts shops. We are right in the thick of it. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of wall space to hang up what we sell. There is always a faint smell of rubber and engine oil in the air around here. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in looking for specific sounds or parts for their bikes. It’s noisy because someone is always testing a horn nearby, and the sound echoes off the narrow buildings in the lane. We have an old stool we sit on when things are quiet, but that doesn’t happen very often in Karol Bagh. The floor is stained from years of boots walking in and out, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we don't mind it much. We don't use any fancy systems to track things; we mostly just know where the boxes are by looking at them. It’s a simple, local business where we know our regulars and we know the market. We don't have a website with flashy photos or anything like that. We just have our shop number on the door and a lot of work to do before we close up for the night.
