Honeywell International India Pvt. Ltd. is located over in Okhla, specifically inside the G.B. Pant Polytechnic Campus. Our office is at Flat No. 10, Type III. It’s a bit of a different setting than your usual office building since we are surrounded by students and academic buildings. Being in New Delhi, the heat can get pretty bad in the summer, but we just get on with things. We handle a variety of technical and administrative tasks from this spot. It’s not a shiny glass tower with a lobby. It’s a functional space where we sit and work through our projects. Okhla is a very industrial and busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of energy around. We drink a lot of tea and spend hours in front of our computers. The campus has some trees, which is a nice change from the dusty streets outside the gates. We don’t really go for big speeches about what we do. It’s mostly about solving problems and keeping things moving. Everyone here has their own desk and a set of responsibilities. Sometimes we stay late when a project needs finishing, but that’s just how it goes. It feels more like a small community here because we’ve been in this spot for a while. We just focus on the work and try to keep things simple and direct. We share this area with the college folks, which makes for a unique vibe. It isn't always quiet.
