Our branch of Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India is located at A-308 in Vikaspuri, New Delhi. Being in Vikaspuri means we are always surrounded by the noise of the city. Our showroom and service area take up a decent amount of space on the ground level. You will see bikes lined up along the walls and a few scooters parked right near the entrance. The floor is made of hard tiles that get marked up by tires and boots, but we try to keep it as clean as we can. It’s a busy spot. We have mechanics in the back and people up front talking to customers about engine sizes and mileage. There is a lot of talk about traffic and road conditions because that is what everyone is dealing with out there. The air usually smells a bit like oil and new rubber, which is something you get used to after a few days. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just some posters and the occasional clock that is a few minutes fast. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the regulars who come in for their routine service. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up, we look at the bikes, and we help people figure out what they need to get around Delhi. It is hard work but we are used to the pace.
