Himanshu & Co.

Our place is at House No-A -84 in Rajeev Nagar. If you know where the Bike Vihar Mandir in Begumpur is, then you’re very close. It’s a residential area mostly, so we try to keep the noise down, but it’s hard when you’re moving heavy supplies around. Himanshu & Co. started small and we’ve just stayed that way, tucked into this corner of the neighborhood. We don’t have a big storefront with neon signs. It’s just a house that we’ve converted to handle our business. People usually call us first or just drop by because they live a few streets over. We have a small yard where we keep the materials, and it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock. The temple nearby brings a lot of people around, especially on holidays, so the streets get packed. We just work around it. My cousin helps me out with the lifting, and we spend a lot of time just chatting with neighbors who stop by to ask for advice on their home repairs. We don’t have a big corporate office or a staff in suits. It’s just us in our work clothes, trying to make sure everyone gets what they need for their houses. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the occasional delivery truck trying to navigate these narrow Rajeev Nagar lanes. We keep it simple and focus on the daily chores that need doing.
