Our spot is over at C-65/1 in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase-II. If you know Mayapuri, you know it's a lot of metal, noise, and people working hard. Hilux Auto Electric.Com is right in the middle of all that. We deal with car electrics, which means there’s usually a lot of black grease around and boxes of alternators or starters stacked up against the walls. It isn’t the cleanest place in the world, but it’s an industrial unit, so that’s expected. We spend our days looking at catalogs and testing parts to make sure they actually work before they go out. The name has a ".com" in it because we thought that would be a good idea for the future, but most of our work still happens right here on the shop floor. The air is always thick with the sound of machinery from the neighboring units. We’ve got a small desk where we handle the bills, but most of the time we’re standing up. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the local stalls nearby. It’s a tough area to work in sometimes because of the dust and the heat, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't trying to be a fancy showroom. We just provide the parts that keep vehicles running. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we've been here for ages.
