I have been working at the office at 34 Basant Lok for quite some time now. Vasant Vihar is a very busy area, so getting to the building can be a bit of a headache with the Delhi traffic every morning. Our place is right there near the local shops and all the noise of the street. Most of the time, the workday is filled with constant phone calls and people coming in and out for meetings. We deal with bikes and everything that goes along with them. It is not always an easy job, especially when things get backed up at the plant or shipments are running late. I spend a lot of my time just looking at spreadsheets and answering emails that all start to sound the same after a few hours. The tea lady comes around twice a day, and honestly, that is usually the highlight for most of us in this department. We have a small corner in the back where we keep the old paper files, and it is a bit of a mess, to be truthful. Sometimes it feels like we are just moving papers from one side of the desk to the other all day long. People think working for a big name is all fancy and high-tech, but it is mostly just making sure the parts get to where they need to go. The air conditioner in the back room makes a weird rattling noise that we have just learned to ignore. It is just a regular job in a busy part of the city.
