Our office is currently set up in the Railway Officers Colony on P K Road in CP. We’re in Flat No. 6B, Building No. 244, care of Mr. Sunil Kumar. Being in New Delhi 110001 means we’re right in the middle of everything, though the colony itself is a bit quieter than the rest of Connaught Place. Since we are a Government of India Enterprise, there is a lot of coordination and paperwork that happens here. It’s not a big industrial site with smoking chimneys, but more of a hub for organizing things. The building is an older one, typical for this part of Delhi. We spend a lot of time on the phone or in meetings. The traffic in CP is always a mess, so we usually just stay put during the day. We don’t have fancy lounges or coffee machines. It’s just desks, files, and people trying to get things sorted for the larger projects. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes in the flat, but we make it work. Most of us take the metro or buses to get here. It’s a practical setup for the kind of administrative work we do for HEC. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a glitzy office. We just need a place to work and talk to the right people. It feels like a real office where actual work gets done, even if it’s just in a residential colony.
