White Mango

White Mango is located at C-101 in Hari Nagar Ashram. It’s a decent-sized spot, though it feels smaller when we have a lot of stuff coming in. The building is older, and you can see the wear and tear on the doorframes. Hari Nagar Ashram is a pretty lively area, so there’s always something happening outside the window. We’ve got some desks pushed together in the main room and a small area in the back where we keep the inventory. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a reception desk or a lounge. We usually just sit wherever there’s a clear chair. The floor is grey tile, and it stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a small window that lets in a bit of breeze, but mostly we just rely on the ceiling fans. C-101 is easy enough to get to once you’re in the neighborhood. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. There are some stains on the ceiling from a leak we had last monsoon, but it’s dry now. We just come in, do what needs to be done for White Mango, and head home when the work is finished. It’s a straightforward environment. No one here is trying to impress anyone; we’re just a small crew working out of a room in Hari Nagar Ashram. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just use that time to talk. It’s our daily reality here.
