We are based at Plot No A-8 in Wazirabad village, specifically on the ground floor. The address mentions a few Khasra numbers like 269 and 228, which sounds complicated but it’s just how the land is marked here. We are on Street Number 9. The roads around here aren't paved very well, so it gets quite dusty when the trucks drive by. Our unit is on the ground floor, which is great for when we have to load and unload goods. We have a large metal shutter that we keep open during the day for some fresh air, though it lets in the dust too. Inside, the floor is just plain concrete. We have some wooden pallets stacked in the corner and a couple of metal desks for the paperwork. The office area is partitioned off with some thin plywood. It’s not exactly quiet, especially with the construction going on nearby, but we get our work done. Most of our time is spent checking weights and making sure the packaging is secure. We have a small cooler for water and a plastic clock on the wall that’s always five minutes fast. There are some local shops where we get our stationery and tea. It’s a simple, functional place in a developing part of New Delhi. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure everything is where it should be.
