H P Goel Co is located at House No J 83, Gali 1, on Kushak Road 2 in Saroop Nagar. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know these galis can be a bit tight. We’ve been running the company from this house for years. It’s a bit of a mix between a home and a workplace. We have the office set up in the front rooms, and the rest of the house carries on around us. It’s noisy because of the street life right outside the door, and there is always someone passing by or a bike revving its engine. We handle a bit of everything here. The shelves are packed with ledgers and old receipts because we haven't quite moved everything to the computer yet. It feels more personal this way. We know the people on the street and they know us. Sometimes someone will stop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished image. We’re just local people doing business in Saroop Nagar. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture is a bit mismatched, but it works for us. We stay busy through the day, drinking lots of chai and trying to get through the list of things to do before the sun goes down. It is just a normal, busy Delhi house and office.
