Our office is tucked away at 9/8-A in Tilak Nagar. It’s a residential-looking area but there are plenty of businesses running out of these buildings. We handle imports, which basically means we spend a lot of time on the phone and tracking shipments from different places. The desks are usually covered in paperwork and shipping manifests. It can be a bit chaotic when a big container arrives and we have to figure out where to put everything. Tilak Nagar is a lively spot, so there’s always somewhere to grab a quick snack while we wait for deliveries. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just a few of us sitting around computers and making sure things move from point A to point B. Sometimes the internet goes down or a shipment gets delayed at the port, and those are the days we just have to sit tight and wait it out. It’s a hands-on job, even if a lot of it happens behind a screen. We deal with all sorts of goods, whatever is in demand or what our regulars are asking for. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like the neighborhood feel here, even if parking is a total nightmare most of the time. We’re just a small team trying to keep the supply chain moving smoothly without making a big production out of it.
