Greenwich Meridian Logistics is tucked away at B-146, Lane-20 in Subhash Vihar. Yamuna Vihar is a residential and commercial mix, and our spot reflects that. It’s a bit of a maze to find Lane-20 if you aren’t from around here, but once you’re here, it’s a solid place to work. We handle a lot of the logistical legwork that keeps businesses running. It’s not glamorous. Most of the day is spent on the computer or the telephone, making sure things are lined up. The office is small and gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of visitors, but we make it work. We have a few old fans that creak a bit, and the lighting could be better, but the work gets done regardless. We aren’t interested in those polished corporate offices you see in the city center. This is where the real work happens, right in the neighborhood. We know the local vendors and the postman by name. Every shipment has its own set of challenges, and we just take them as they come. Sometimes there is a mistake in a document and we have to spend an hour fixing it, which is annoying but it’s just part of the job. We stay focused on the tasks at hand and try to keep things as simple as possible for everyone involved. It is just life in the logistics world.
